Fantastic Faith Jan. 30th

Gospel lesson for the fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time - 2.1.2015

Dear Parents,

Today your child listened to a simplified version of  Mark 1:21-28.

Theme: Jesus is Our Teacher

Symbol:  Mouth

To reinforce at home:
In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus teaches during Sabbath synagogue worship and expels an evil spirit who interrupts him. The people who witness this are amazed at his authority. They comment that he is a far greater teacher than any of their rabbis. WE discussed the importance of the many teachers in the children’s lives. The readings also tell us today tell us about using our voices to do God’s work and share his love.

Activities for home:
*Be grateful!  Together with your child, choose someone who makes a difference in your life and tell them thank you.

*Sing God’s praises!  Use your voice to sing a song praising God.  Teach the song to your child and sing together.

*Praise each other!  Use your voice to share God’s love with each other.  Tell your child how happy you are to live with them.
