Trees


The kids enjoyed 5 centers Tuesday, 10-18-12.
Each child
  1. Colored a tree in their favorite season and looked at books about their favorite season.
  2. Practiced filling in 10 frames to show numbers 0-20.
  3. Created textured rubbings of a trunk and leaves.
  4. Put tree puzzles together.
  5. Labeled parts of a tree.

Pumpkin patch


The children were busily preparing pumpkin stories in Art class today.  The children were to make square eyes on their pumpkin if they had brown eyes.  Those children that have blue, green, or hazel eyes were to make triangle eyes on their pumpkin.  The children that have siblings were to make a triangle nose.  The only children were to make a circle nose.  In the mouth of the pumpkin, the children were to show how many teeth they had lost.  Read some of our pumpkin stories below.
