We had lots of emotions for our first days of school. I read Pete the Cat Rocking in My School Shoes and discussed how Pete felt on his first day of Cat School. One line in the book states, "Did Pete worry? Goodness no!" It is a very fun book where Pete discovers lots of cool places in school. We went on a tour and discovered many cool places at St. Paul's too. We also talked about God wanting us to tell him our feelings no matter what they are. Hopefully all are ready to return on Monday.
Tommy had a great first two days! Thank you for creating an environment that turned his nerves into excitement! We are looking forward to a great year.
